SecureKey — Initializing
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "you", "your") and SecureKey Locksmith Services LLC ("SecureKey", "we", "our", "us"). By requesting, scheduling, or accepting any services from SecureKey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
By contacting SecureKey via telephone, online form, email, or any other means, and by permitting our technician to commence any work on your behalf, you confirm your unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not engage our services.
These Terms apply to all services rendered by SecureKey, including but not limited to emergency lockouts, key cutting, lock installation, lock replacement, access control installation, safe opening, and all related advisory services.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Amendments will be published on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services after any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
SecureKey provides professional locksmith services across our designated service area. Our services include, but are not limited to:
All services are performed by fully trained, licensed, and insured technicians. SecureKey reserves the right to decline any service request at its sole discretion, including where providing the service would be unlawful or technically inadvisable.
Services are available within our designated metropolitan service area. Coverage areas may change without prior notice. Please confirm availability in your specific location when booking.
Bookings may be made via telephone, our website contact form, or email. All bookings are subject to technician availability. For emergency services, we aim to dispatch within 5 minutes of your call and arrive within 15 minutes, subject to traffic and location conditions.
Estimated arrival times are provided in good faith and are not contractually guaranteed. Delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control do not constitute a breach of contract.
For security and legal compliance, we require customers to provide satisfactory proof of ownership or occupancy before any work is carried out on a property. Acceptable forms of identification include:
SecureKey reserves the right to refuse service if satisfactory verification cannot be provided. In such cases, a call-out fee may still apply.
All prices are quoted in USD and are exclusive of any applicable state or local taxes, which will be itemised separately on your invoice. A binding quote will be provided before work commences. By authorising the technician to proceed, you agree to pay the quoted amount upon completion.
We quote before we start. The price agreed is the price you pay — no hidden additions after the job is done. If the scope of work changes materially during the job, we will stop and obtain fresh authorisation before continuing.
For commercial accounts, invoices are payable within 14 days of the invoice date. Overdue balances will accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% per annum). SecureKey reserves the right to pursue collection of outstanding amounts, including legal costs and reasonable collection fees.
Customers may cancel a scheduled (non-emergency) appointment at no charge provided cancellation is made at least 2 hours before the confirmed appointment time. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours' notice, or failure to be present when the technician arrives, will incur a call-out fee of $25–$49 depending on the service booked.
Emergency callouts that are cancelled after a technician has been dispatched will incur a call-out fee equivalent to the applicable emergency service rate. There is no cancellation fee if the technician is found to be unable to complete the work due to circumstances within SecureKey's control.
All workmanship carried out by SecureKey technicians is covered by our 90-day satisfaction guarantee. If a defect in our workmanship (not caused by misuse, damage, or normal wear) arises within 90 days of service, we will return and rectify the issue at no additional charge.
Hardware and parts supplied and installed by SecureKey carry the manufacturer's warranty, which will be passed on to the customer. SecureKey does not warranty or accept liability for hardware supplied by the customer.
SecureKey carries full public liability insurance. In the event of damage caused directly by our negligence, our liability is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, up to a maximum of the total amount paid for the service that caused the damage.
SecureKey shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising from the provision of services, including but not limited to: loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or loss of use of property.
Nothing in these Terms limits SecureKey's liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Customers must ensure that the working environment is safe and accessible for our technicians. This includes:
Any false representation of authority over a property or vehicle will result in immediate cessation of services, potential reporting to law enforcement, and the customer being liable for all costs incurred.
By requesting our services for any property, you warrant that you are the lawful owner or occupier of that property, or that you have explicit authorisation from the lawful owner to request locksmith services. SecureKey technicians are trained to identify and refuse suspicious requests, and reserve the right to seek additional verification at any time.
SecureKey cooperates fully with law enforcement and will disclose service records where required by law. All service calls are logged, including the date, time, location, and customer details provided.
